When moving the mouse, it deletes the screen, or sometimes randomly shuffles it.

What version of Vbox are you using? What host machine? How did you install the driver?

As for what i tested, Vbox 2.1.0 hangs while installing guest additions. Earlier versions are supposedly working. Bugboy also told me about those graphical glitches.

VirtualBox version is 2.1
Host OS is Debian 5.0, machine: Gigabyte M61PME-S2, 5000+ Athlon X2, 1 GiB DDR2, Geforce 9500GT.
I installed the driver simply running the VirtualBox Guest Additions Setup, it copies the files, but after that, it gives an error: "Could not install files for Windows 2000 / XP / Vista! Installation aborted." After reboot, the driver works.

After adding to the registry the following keys: HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VboxVideo and HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VboxVideo\Device0 and rebooting, ReactOS starts in 4bpp, and it seems that all the glithes are gone.

To change resolution you need to add an entry in the registry
HAX HAX HAX HAX

Open Regedit
Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\vboxvideo\Device0
Select the right pane window and right click
Add a new DWORD value
Set its name to DefaultSettings.VRefresh
Click on the Decimal radio button and enter in 60.
Menu->Restart
You should now be able to change the display resolution, etc.

NOTE: The above is considered a HAX.
As I checked a windows install on vbox with the driver loaded.
Windows refresh rate was 60.
Thought, this registry key doesn't exist in that location.
So I don't know where/how it gets it value for Refresh rate
or if it has a default value coded into win32k.

The glitches are fixed and switching resolution works now without hax.
When you install "VBoxGuest.sys" driver, for some reason there will only be a maximum of 800x600 available, if you don't install it, you can switch to higher res, too.

Strangely i have installed Vbox guest additions on buildbot`s bootcd (Via official installer, just deleted VboxMouse.sys before rebooting, so mouse cursor doesnt freeze) thus i expect VboxGuest to be installed as well. I was able to set 1024x768x32.
